Air Conditioning

Cooling that runs quiet, runs efficient, and gets out of your way.

what's included

  • We size — Manual J load calculations on every install, room by room.
  • We install — Licensed crews, protected floors, named techs, a clean job site.
  • We commission — Refrigerant charge, airflow balance, thermostat tuning before we leave.
  • We maintain — Annual tune-ups and priority response when something needs us.

our approach

We treat air conditioning the way a designer treats a building: as a system that should disappear into the home it serves. Most residential AC installs in Utah are sold from a truck — same equipment, same sizing rule of thumb, same noisy condenser dropped wherever the line set was easiest to run. That approach works until the first hot week of August.

Our process starts with the home, not the equipment. We measure the rooms that get full afternoon sun. We trace the ducts. We compute the load. We pick the system that matches the load — not the system that was easiest to source — and we install it where it disappears. Quieter compressor, cleaner line set, balanced airflow on every register. The result is a home that just feels right when you walk in, every season.

The crew named themselves at the door, swept up after every break, and walked me through the commissioning before they left. I've had cabinet installers who weren't this disciplined.

questions

Frequently asked.

  • How long does an AC install take?

Most full-system installs are one day, sometimes two for older homes that need duct modifications. We confirm the timeline at the consultation so there are no surprises.

  • What does Manual J load calculation actually do?

It computes the heat gain of your home, room by room, based on insulation, window orientation, ceiling height, and infiltration. Without it, sizing is a guess — and oversized AC short-cycles, runs humid, and dies young.

  • Do you offer financing on AC systems?

Yes. Most homeowners qualify for terms between 24 and 84 months. We discuss financing at the visit so you have real numbers, not a pitch.

  • How do you decide between central AC and a heat pump?

We look at your existing furnace, your home's ductwork, your electrical capacity, and your climate exposure. Park City and the foothills often favor heat pumps; valley homes with existing gas furnaces often favor central AC paired with the furnace blower.

  • What brands do you install?

Lennox, Trane, Mitsubishi, Carrier, and Daikin. We don't sell on brand — we sell on what fits your home. The right brand depends on the install, the climate, and the warranty terms.
